Rat TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) CLIA Kit (RTES00554)

From Assay Genie, this Rat TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) CLIA Kit is a sandwich chemiluminescence immunoassay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat TSH (also known as Thyrotropin) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses a micro CLIA plate pre-coated with antibody specific to rat TSH, with detection via a biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate; the resulting Relative Light Unit (RLU) values, measured on a chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer, are positively associated with TSH concentration and quantified against a standard curve.

The kit has a sensitivity of 0.19 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.31–20 ng/mL, with an assay time of 3.5h and a sample volume of 100 μL. It is reactive with rat samples, with no significant cross-reactivity or interference between rat TSH and analogues observed. Both intra-assay and inter-assay CV are reported as < 15%. Linearity has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and cell culture media across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, and recovery data are provided for the same matrices.
