Tumor-Specific Growth Factor (TSGF), also known as Tumor-Supplied Group of Factors, is a panel of tumor-derived signaling molecules frequently studied as a broad-spectrum indicator of malignant transformation. The Assay Genie rat TSGF immunoassay is built around a two-antibody capture-and-detection configuration optimized for quantitative measurement of TSGF in experimental rat specimens, with applications in hepatocellular, pulmonary, gastric, and colorectal cancer research.

Supporting cancer research workflows, the kit is supplied as a complete reagent set, including a pre-coated microplate, detection antibody, standards, substrate solution, and stop reagent, sufficient for ninety-six individual reactions. Reconstituted reagents should be handled according to standard immunoassay practice, with the standard curve prepared by serial dilution in the provided diluent. Color development is read on a standard microplate reader, with absorbance proportional to TSGF concentration in the sample.

The assay is compatible with liquid samples collected from rat blood (serum or plasma fractions), as well as tissue homogenates and cell culture supernatants from experimental models. Researchers working on tumor xenograft studies, chemical carcinogenesis protocols, or biomarker discovery projects can integrate this kit into longitudinal sample panels to monitor TSGF dynamics alongside other tumor markers such as AFP, CEA, or VEGF.

Each Assay Genie ELISA kit is intended for research use only and is manufactured under quality-controlled conditions to support reproducible inter-assay and intra-assay performance. Unopened kit components should be refrigerated; reconstituted standards and detection antibody are best preserved by freezing in single-use aliquots to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
