Rat Trypsin-4 (Try4) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA Kit designed for the quantitative measurement of rat Trypsin-4 (Try4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay detects natural and recombinant rat Trypsin-4 (synonyms: Pretrypsinogen IV, Trypsin IV) and is reactive with rat samples only.

The kit has a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Reported intra-assay CV is 4.3% and inter-assay CV is 7.2%. Linearity has been characterised at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions: serum (N=5) 98-107%, 97-106%, 112-122%, 107-117%; EDTA plasma (N=5) 108-117%, 87-97%, 97-107%, 106-118%; heparin plasma (N=5) 97-106%, 89-100%, 92-102%, 102-110%. Recovery averages are 86% for serum (range 80-92%) and 88% for plasma (range 82-94%).

Trypsin-4 is a secreted extracellular protein with a molecular weight of 26.1 kDa (UniProt P12788) and is a member of the trypsin family of serine proteases. For research use only.
