Rat Trypsin 2/PRSS2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for quantitative detection of Trypsin 2 (PRSS2) in rat samples. Reactivity is specific to rat, and the assay uses a double antibody sandwich format with colorimetric readout.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit shows a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Recovery values are: serum (n=5) 85–105% with an average of 99%, EDTA plasma (n=5) 92–98% with an average of 95%, and heparin plasma (n=5) 88–103% with an average of 97%. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions ranges from 81% to 103% across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months, and absorbance is read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development.

PRSS2, also referred to as Trypsin 2, is a serine protease involved in protein digestion. Abnormal PRSS2 levels have been linked to gastrointestinal diseases, and the kit is classified under the cell biology research area.
