Rat Troponin I Type 1, Slow Skeletal (TNNI1) ELISA Kit

TNNI1 is expressed predominantly in type I slow-twitch skeletal muscle fibers and is dynamically regulated during muscle development, disuse atrophy, and regeneration. Researchers apply this assay to investigate skeletal muscle physiology, sarcopenia, exercise adaptation, and hereditary neuromuscular conditions such as distal arthrogryposis type 2B and nemaline myopathy, in which the slow skeletal isoform is specifically implicated.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, assay standards, detection reagents, wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution. Samples are prepared from rat blood fractions and skeletal muscle tissue homogenates following standard laboratory protocols.
