Rat Troponin I, fast skeletal muscle/TNNI2 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of troponin I levels in rat samples, this sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie targets the TNNI2 (fast skeletal muscle) isoform. The kit is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and operates with a reported sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL across an assay range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Detection is colorimetric, and the assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-streptavidin (SABC), with absorbance read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development.

Troponin I is a key regulatory protein of skeletal muscle contraction, and elevated circulating levels are described as a biomarker of muscle damage and injury. The kit is positioned as a tool for preclinical studies and drug development research investigating muscle physiology, injury, and regeneration in rat models. Reagent components are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months, while the ELISA microplate strips and lyophilised standard can be kept in sealed foil bags with desiccant for 1 month at 2–8°C or for 12 months at -20°C.
