Rat TrkB/NTRK2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the precise measurement of TrkB (NTRK2) levels in rat serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Using a double-antibody sandwich format, the kit offers a sensitivity of 56.25 pg/mL and a working range of 93.75-6000 pg/mL. TrkB (NTRK2) is a key neurotrophic receptor involved in neuronal survival, growth, and differentiation, and its dysregulation has been linked to neurological disorders including Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and depression, making it a valuable biomarker for neurobiology research.

Across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples tested at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions (n = 5), the kit demonstrated linearity within the reported ranges. Recovery was 85-104% for serum (average 94%), 88-103% for EDTA plasma (average 97%), and 93-103% for heparin plasma (average 97%). The assay procedure begins with a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, followed by biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate incubations, TMB substrate development, and absorbance reading at 450 nm.
