The Rat Transmembrane protein 132D (Tmem132d) Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie utilizes a colorimetric detection method and is formatted as a 96-well microplate, supporting quantitative measurement of Tmem132d in rat serum and plasma samples. Tmem132d is a single-pass transmembrane protein implicated in neuronal signaling, myelination processes, and anxiety-related behavioral regulation, making this immunoassay useful for neuroscience, neuropharmacology, and behavioral research investigations. The assay relies on pre-coated capture antibodies and a biotinylated detection reagent, with a streptavidin-HRP conjugate producing a measurable chromogenic signal proportional to analyte concentration. Standard curves are generated from recombinant rat Tmem132d calibrators, and a typical sample volume of 100 µL per well is recommended. Reconstituted reagents and unused strips should be stored at 2-8 °C, while the lyophilized standard should be kept frozen at -20 °C to preserve binding activity, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the standard should be avoided. Intended for research use only, this in vitro ELISA is not validated for diagnostic procedures. Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, recombinant standards, assay diluent, concentrated wash buffer, and TMB substrate sufficient for 96 determinations run in duplicate.
