Rat Tp53 (Cellular tumor antigen p53) ELISA Kit (RTFI01482)

Assay Genie's Sandwich ELISA Kit enables researchers to quantitatively measure cellular tumor antigen p53 (TP53) in rat samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format and delivers a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL with a working range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

Linearity has been verified across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, with serum ranging from 85–104%, EDTA plasma from 84–101%, and heparin plasma from 80–100%. Spiked recovery averages are 97% in serum (range 86–105%), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 86–104%) and 96% in heparin plasma (range 85–100%). The procedure uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin binding, and TMB colour development read at 450 nm. TP53 is a tumour suppressor protein whose dysregulation is implicated in a wide range of cancers, making this kit a relevant tool for cancer and cell biology research.
