Rat TNPO1 (Transportin 1) ELISA Kit (RTES00854)

Designed for quantitative measurement of Transportin 1 in rat specimens, this Assay Genie immunoassay provides a reproducible tool for investigating TNPO1, a karyopherin-β nuclear import receptor. TNPO1 mediates nuclear import of proteins carrying PY-type nuclear localization signals, including heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A1, and has been implicated in nucleocytoplasmic transport, RNA processing, and models of neurodegenerative disease such as ALS.

Each kit includes a pre-coated microplate and all required reagents, and should be refrigerated upon arrival to preserve reagent activity.
