Rat TNF beta ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of TNF Beta in rat samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit uses a colorimetric detection method with absorbance read at 450 nm. The assay is calibrated with a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL, supporting precise and reproducible detection of this key cytokine linked to inflammation and immune responses.

Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Recovery values reported by the manufacturer are 89–101% for serum (average 97%), 91–102% for EDTA plasma (average 96%), and 94–103% for heparin plasma (average 99%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is 90–102% / 88–99% / 88–105% for serum, 84–100% / 89–101% / 93–100% for EDTA plasma, and 82–100% / 83–100% / 87–100% for heparin plasma.

The workflow involves a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, followed by biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, and TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes before the stop reaction. All components should be stored at 2–8°C, protected from direct light, with the kit remaining stable for 12 months under these conditions.
