Rat TLR2/Toll-like receptor 2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit enables precise measurement of TLR2 (Toll-Like Receptor 2) levels in rat samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The colorimetric format supports research into innate immune signalling and the role of TLR2 dysregulation in inflammatory and autoimmune disease.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions (n=5) gave recoveries of 82–100%, 81–100% and 90–98% for serum; 82–98%, 82–92% and 85–105% for EDTA plasma; and 85–100%, 87–101% and 82–99% for heparin plasma. Spiked-recovery averages were 95% (serum), 93% (EDTA plasma) and 90% (heparin plasma).

The workflow covers reagent equilibration, a 37°C primary incubation of 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development for 10–20 minutes in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution. Serum is clotted and centrifuged at 1000 × g for 20 minutes; plasma is collected in anticoagulant tubes and centrifuged at 1000 × g for 15 minutes at 2–8°C; cell culture supernatant is clarified at 2500 rpm for 5 minutes; lysates and tissue homogenates are prepared with protease inhibitors. Kit components are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.
