Rat Tissue Plasminogen Activator/TPA ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Rat Tissue Plasminogen Activator (tPA) ELISA Kit is a sandwich double-antibody ELISA developed for the accurate measurement of tPA in rat samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Given the role of tPA in fibrinolysis and blood clot dissolution, it is intended for cardiovascular research, including studies of conditions such as stroke, heart attack, and venous thromboembolism.

In spiked sample testing, recoveries were 89-102% (average 95%) for serum (n=5), 85-100% (average 95%) for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 87-99% (average 94%) for heparin plasma (n=5). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions was demonstrated at 86-99%, 90-105%, and 85-98% for serum (n=5); 83-96%, 82-101%, and 84-101% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 87-97%, 83-94%, and 88-99% for heparin plasma (n=5).

The kit is supplied with reagents stored at 2-8°C for 12 months and is shipped at +4°C internationally. Detection is colorimetric, using a TMB substrate with absorbance read at 450 nm.
