Rat Tissue Factor (TF) ELISA Kit

This immunoassay from Assay Genie is configured to quantitate Tissue Factor, also referred to as coagulation Factor III, CD142, or thromboplastin, in rat-derived samples. Tissue Factor is the primary cellular initiator of the extrinsic coagulation cascade: it binds Factor VIIa, and the resulting TF-FVIIa complex activates Factor X, driving thrombin generation and fibrin formation.

Because of this central role, rat Tissue Factor is commonly measured in preclinical hemostasis, thrombosis, microvascular injury, and disseminated intravascular coagulation studies, as well as in sepsis, ischemia-reperfusion, and cardiovascular disease models. The kit is supplied as a complete reagent set in a 96-assay configuration and is intended for use with rat plasma, tissue homogenates, and cell lysates.

Standard curve and quality control materials are included so laboratories can generate a quantitative readout of TF concentration in their experimental samples. Reagents should be refrigerated on arrival to preserve antibody activity, and the kit is intended for research use only.
