Rat TIMP4 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the precise measurement of TIMP4 (Tissue Inhibitor of Metalloproteinase 4) levels in rat samples. The kit uses a double antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection and is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Linearity testing across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 gave the following ranges: serum (n = 5) 90-104%, 91-100%, 80-95%; EDTA plasma (n = 5) 87-105%, 82-96%, 82-100%; heparin plasma (n = 5) 88-102%, 84-101%, 80-99%. Spike-and-recovery across these matrices yielded average recoveries of 97% (range 91-102%) for serum, 92% (range 85-103%) for EDTA plasma, and 92% (range 85-99%) for heparin plasma. Reagents are stable for 12 months when stored at 2-8°C.
