Rat Thyroid peroxidase/TPO ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA kit designed for the quantitative measurement of Thyroid peroxidase (TPO) in rat samples. TPO is an essential enzyme involved in thyroid hormone synthesis, and dysregulation of its activity has been linked to thyroid disorders such as autoimmune thyroid disease and hypothyroidism, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and developing potential treatments.

Using a double antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, the assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Sensitivity is 18.75 pg/mL and the working range is 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions was 91-101% to 85-99% in serum, 96-105% to 80-99% in EDTA plasma, and 86-103% to 87-99% in heparin plasma. Recovery averaged 98% in serum (range 93-104%), 93% in EDTA plasma (89-101%), and 94% in heparin plasma (88-102%). Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
