Rat Thyroglobulin ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA, double-antibody kit is designed for the precise measurement of thyroglobulin in rat serum, plasma, tissue homogenate, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The colorimetric assay has a working sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL and an analytical range of 7.813-500 pg/mL.

Storage conditions are 2-8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity values are: serum (n=5) 87-104% at 1:2, 86-99% at 1:4 and 87-96% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n=5) 85-101% / 85-101% / 87-99%; heparin plasma (n=5) 83-100% / 80-100% / 84-99%. Reported recovery averages are 92% for serum (n=5, range 87-105%), 95% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 85-105%) and 90% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 85-97%).

The procedure comprises reagent and TMB substrate equilibration to room temperature; sample and standard loading with primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes; biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes; HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes; TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes; and immediate absorbance reading at 450 nm following stop solution addition.
