Rat Thymus Activation Regulated Chemokine (TARC) ELISA Kit

The Rat Thymus Activation Regulated Chemokine (TARC) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie measures CCL17, a CC-family chemokine ligand that engages the CCR4 receptor on T-helper type 2 (Th2) lymphocytes and directs their recruitment to inflamed skin and mucosal tissues. Elevated circulating CCL17 in rats is associated with experimental models of atopic dermatitis, allergic airway inflammation, and contact hypersensitivity, making this assay useful for tracking Th2-skewed immune responses in pharmacological and toxicological studies. The kit includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized recombinant rat CCL17 standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, TMB substrate, and stop reagent in sufficient volume for one plate. Reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and kept frozen to limit freeze-thaw loss, while the working detection antibody is diluted fresh before each run. For research use only.
