Rat Thrombomodulin/BDCA-3 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA, double-antibody kit for measuring levels of Thrombomodulin (also known as THBD, BDCA-3, CD141, or Fetomodulin) in rat samples. Thrombomodulin is a key protein involved in the regulation of blood coagulation and inflammation, and its dysregulation has been linked to sepsis, cardiovascular diseases, and coagulopathies, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and developing potential therapeutic interventions.

The kit uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It provides a sensitivity of 56.25 pg/mL with a measuring range of 93.75-6000 pg/mL, and components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The workflow involves a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin binding steps, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm.
