Rat THP (Tamm–Horsfall Glycoprotein) ELISA Kit (RTES00779)

Tamm-Horsfall Glycoprotein (also known as Uromodulin) is a GPI-anchored protein synthesized exclusively by renal tubular epithelial cells, and the Assay Genie Rat THP ELISA Kit provides a quantitative enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for measuring this biomarker in rat research samples. As the most abundant protein in normal urine, THP is widely used in studies of renal tubular integrity, kidney function, and urinary tract physiology in experimental rat models.

Researchers working on nephrology, urolithiasis, ischemia-reperfusion injury, diabetic nephropathy, or toxicology studies can apply this kit to serum-based and plasma-based samples, urine, and tissue homogenates from rat models.
