Rat TGFBI ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of TGFBI in rat samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

TGFBI, also known as transforming growth factor beta-induced protein, participates in cell adhesion, migration, and proliferation, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, corneal dystrophies, and fibrosis. The assay has a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Validated linearity across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions ranges from 86% to 104%. Recovery averages 95% in serum, 94% in EDTA plasma, and 98% in heparin plasma.
