TGF-beta3 (Transforming Growth Factor Beta 3) is a secreted cytokine in the TGF-beta superfamily that regulates epithelial-mesenchymal interactions, palatogenesis, wound healing, and extracellular matrix remodeling. This immunoassay kit from Assay Genie uses matched anti-rat TGF-beta3 capture and detection antibody pairs pre-coated on the microplate. The assay provides a detection range of 15.6 to 1000 pg/mL with sensitivity below 10 pg/mL. Researchers add 100 uL of standard or sample per well, followed by biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP conjugate. Color development with TMB substrate is read at 450 nm.

Sample preparation typically requires acid activation to release latent TGF-beta3 into its immunoreactive form prior to dilution in assay buffer. Reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and stored frozen to limit freeze-thaw cycles. Unused plate strips should be sealed with desiccant and refrigerated.
