Description

This chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA) kit from Assay Genie is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Rat TFR2 (Transferrin Receptor Protein 2) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay employs the Sandwich CLIA principle on a pre-coated plate bearing an antibody specific to Rat TFR2. Standards or samples are added, followed sequentially by a biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. Signal is read as Relative Light Unit (RLU) values on a chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer, and sample concentrations are calculated by comparison with the standard curve.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 37.50 pg/mL and a detection range of 62.50-4000 pg/mL. Specificity testing found no significant cross-reactivity or interference between Rat TFR2 and analogues. Each kit contains a pre-coated CLIA plate, reference standard, concentrated biotinylated detection antibody (100×), concentrated HRP conjugate (100×), reference standard and sample diluent, biotinylated detection antibody diluent, HRP conjugate diluent, concentrated wash buffer (25×), substrate reagents A and B, plate sealer and desiccant. An unopened kit can be stored at 4°C for 1 month, after which components should be stored separately according to the vial labels.

Sample preparation guidance covers serum (clot 2 hours at room temperature or overnight at 4°C, centrifuge 15 min at 1000×g at 2-8°C), plasma using EDTA or heparin as anticoagulant (centrifuge 15 min at 1000×g at 2-8°C within 30 min of collection), cell lysates and tissue homogenates. Samples should be assayed within 7 days at 4°C, otherwise aliquoted and stored at -20°C (≤1 month) or -80°C (≤3 months), avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The reference standard is reconstituted to 4000 pg/mL, with serial dilutions to 2000, 1000, 500, 250, 125, 62.5 and 0 pg/mL. The procedure uses 100 µL volumes with incubation steps at 37°C, and results are analysed by a four-parameter logistic curve on log-log graph paper. For Research Use Only.
