Rat TEK ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA, double antibody kit designed for quantitative measurement of TEK (Tyrosine-protein kinase receptor) in rat samples, with colorimetric detection. Validated sample matrices include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Linearity across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma spans 80-105% at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, while recovery ranges from 85-105% with averages of 93-98% across the same matrices. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The workflow uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB substrate development in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm. TEK is a key receptor in angiogenesis and vascular development, and the kit supports research into its roles in cancer, inflammatory disorders, and cardiovascular disease.
