SOD3 is a copper- and zinc-containing antioxidant glycoprotein that dismutates superoxide radicals in the extracellular space, limiting peroxynitrite formation and downstream tissue damage in cardiovascular, renal, and neural research contexts.

Each kit supplies reagents sufficient for 96 assays on a single plate, supporting a full standard curve alongside replicates and unknowns. Compatible specimen types include serum or plasma drawn from experimental rats, homogenised tissue such as lung, aorta, or kidney, cell lysates, and conditioned cell culture media, allowing laboratories running parallel redox panels from the same animal to keep a unified protocol. Allow all components to equilibrate to room temperature before the run, return unused strip wells to the resealable pouch with desiccant, and protect the substrate solution from light.
