Rat Stromelysin-1 (Mmp3) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables precise and reliable measurement of Stromelysin-1 (MMP3) levels in rat biological samples, supporting studies of extracellular matrix degradation, tissue remodeling, wound healing, tissue repair, and inflammatory disease.

The assay is reactive with rat samples and validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. It has a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.394 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.3% and inter-assay CV is 7.5%. Linearity across dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16 spans 82–94% to 80–92% for serum, 86–86% to 89–98% for EDTA plasma, and 107–117% to 89–99% for heparin plasma. Recovery is 98% (range 92–104%) for serum and 100% (range 94–106%) for plasma. Specificity covers natural and recombinant rat Stromelysin-1. The kit is intended for research use only.

MMP3 can degrade fibronectin, laminin, gelatins of type I, III, IV, and V, collagens III, IV, X, and IX, and cartilage proteoglycans, and it activates procollagenase.
