Rat STAT3 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of STAT3 (Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 3) in rat samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, tissue homogenates, and other liquid samples. STAT3 is a key transcription factor involved in regulating cell growth, survival, and differentiation, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, inflammatory disorders, and autoimmune diseases, making the measurement of STAT3 levels relevant to studies of disease progression and therapeutic targets.

Reported linearity across dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) is 86-99% / 90-100% / 85-97% for serum, 86-103% / 85-97% / 84-95% for EDTA plasma, and 89-103% / 85-99% / 81-99% for heparin plasma. Recovery is 90-103% (average 95%) for serum, 89-102% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 88-105% (average 97%) for heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The assay procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards, samples and a zero control onto the pre-coated plate and incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes, adding biotin-labelled detection antibody and incubating at 37°C for 60 minutes, adding HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and incubating at 37°C for 30 minutes, developing with TMB substrate in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and adding stop solution before reading absorbance at 450 nm.
