Rat Soluble Glucoprotein 130/SGP130 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate colorimetric measurement of soluble glycoprotein 130 (SGP130) in rat samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. SGP130 participates in inflammation and immune response regulation, and quantifying it can support research into autoimmune disorders, cancer, and metabolic diseases. The assay uses a double antibody format with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

Linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions (n=5) has been demonstrated in serum (87-98%, 93-105%, 90-104%), EDTA plasma (89-102%, 90-103%, 83-95%), and heparin plasma (84-96%, 92-98%, 81-98%). Recovery averages reach 95% in serum (range 88-102%), 94% in EDTA plasma (range 86-100%), and 96% in heparin plasma (range 91-105%). Components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The procedure equilibrates reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, incubates standards and samples on the pre-coated plate at 37°C for 90 minutes, then adds a biotin-labeled detection antibody for 60 minutes. HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) is applied for 30 minutes, TMB substrate is developed in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and stop solution is added before absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
