Rat SNAP-25 ELISA Kit

SNAP-25 (synaptosomal-associated protein 25) is a critical protein involved in neurotransmitter release, supporting synaptic vesicle fusion and neurotransmission. Changes in SNAP-25 expression have been linked to neurological disorders including epilepsy, schizophrenia, and Alzheimer's disease, making it a valuable research biomarker for studying these conditions.

The Rat SNAP-25 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of SNAP-25 in rat samples. It uses a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody format with a colorimetric detection method. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is 86-105%, 89-99%, and 91-97% for serum (n = 5); 84-95%, 83-101%, and 87-92% for EDTA plasma (n = 5); and 80-97%, 88-97%, and 85-97% for heparin plasma (n = 5). Recovery averages are 95% for serum (range 87-105%), 100% for EDTA plasma (range 90-105%), and 94% for heparin plasma (range 87-104%).
