Rat Smad1/MADH1 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of SMAD1 (also known as MADH1) in rat samples, this Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie uses a double antibody format with colorimetric detection. SMAD1 is a key protein in the TGF-beta signaling pathway with roles in cell proliferation, differentiation, and development, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, skeletal disorders, and developmental abnormalities.

The Rat Smad1/MADH1 ELISA Kit has a reported sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a measurement range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Storage is at 2-8°C for 12 months. Recovery has been validated in serum (n=5) at 90-95% with an average of 92%, in EDTA plasma (n=5) at 86-99% with an average of 90%, and in heparin plasma (n=5) at 87-104% with an average of 94%.
