Rat SLC2A2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of rat SLC2A2 (Solute Carrier Family 2 Member 2), also known as GLUT2, a glucose transporter protein involved in glucose homeostasis and metabolism. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with reactivity confirmed for rat (UniProt P12336). The colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich format delivers a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a working range of 0.781-50 ng/mL. Linearity has been evaluated in serum (89-98%, 82-100%, 89-99%), EDTA plasma (86-103%, 90-100%, 80-95%) and heparin plasma (86-100%, 85-92%, 89-93%) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions. Recovery averages are 95% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma and 92% for heparin plasma. The protocol involves reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution addition.

The kit is supplied with a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled antibody (100X), HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample, antibody and SABC dilution buffers, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealer and technical manual. It should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
