Rat Sirt2/Sirtuin 2 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of Sirt2/Sirtuin 2 in rat samples. The double antibody format supports a broad range of sample types, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and produces a colorimetric readout. SIRT2 is a key member of the sirtuin family of proteins, with established roles in cellular metabolism, aging, and stress response. Dysregulation of SIRT2 has been implicated in cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and metabolic disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and developing potential therapeutic interventions.

Performance is defined by a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, with all components stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Recovery has been validated in serum (86–101%, average 95%), EDTA plasma (85–102%, average 94%), and heparin plasma (87–103%, average 97%), and linearity has been confirmed at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions for each of these matrices.
