Rat SIRT1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA kit designed for the quantitative measurement of SIRT1 (Sirtuin 1) in rat samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. SIRT1 is described as a key protein involved in regulating cellular processes such as metabolism, inflammation, and oxidative stress, and its dysregulation has been linked to diabetes, cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for disease research and therapeutic investigation.

The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection. Linearity has been validated in serum (83–99%, 88–99%, 84–97% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions), EDTA plasma (81–92%, 80–96%, 81–93%) and heparin plasma (86–103%, 91–105%, 86–90%). Spike-and-recovery averages are 93% in serum, 91% in EDTA plasma and 94% in heparin plasma. Components should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, and the product is intended for cell death research.
