Rat SEPP1 (Selenoprotein P) CLIA Kit (RTES00511)

This chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA) kit from Assay Genie is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Rat SEPP1 (Selenoprotein P) concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses a Sandwich-CLIA format on a microplate pre-coated with a capture antibody specific to Rat SEPP1. Standards or samples are combined with the coated antibody, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and an Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. Relative light unit (RLU) values are read on a chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer and are positively associated with the concentration of Rat SEPP1.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL, a detection range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL, an assay time of 4.5 hours and a sample volume of 100 µL. The kit is reactive with rat samples and shows no significant cross-reactivity or interference between Rat SEPP1 and analogues, with both intra-CV and inter-CV stated as < 15%.
