Rat Semaphorin 3A/SEMA3A ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this rat-reactive Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of Semaphorin 3A (SEMA3A), a protein involved in axon guidance and neuronal development whose dysregulation has been linked to various neurological disorders.

The double-antibody sandwich format uses a colorimetric readout and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported sensitivity is 0.469 ng/mL with a working range of 0.781–50 ng/mL; absorbance is read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development. Components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Linearity was validated by serial dilution (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8: serum 88–103% / 86–101% / 85–103%, EDTA plasma 83–100% / 82–98% / 83–94%, and heparin plasma 80–99% / 90–100% / 87–99%. Spike recovery averaged 95% (serum, range 88–104%), 92% (EDTA plasma, range 86–100%) and 94% (heparin plasma, range 89–100%).
