Rat Secreted Frizzled Related Protein 2 (SFRP2) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Rat SFRP2 ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of Secreted Frizzled Related Protein 2, a soluble modulator of Wnt signaling that functions as a decoy receptor for Wnt ligands and influences both canonical and non-canonical pathway activity. SFRP2 has been examined in preclinical cardiovascular research, particularly heart failure models where circulating levels correlate with cardiac remodeling, as well as in studies of hepatic, pulmonary, and renal fibrosis, tumor microenvironment biology, and osteoblast differentiation in bone metabolism. The assay is configured for absorbance-based readout on a standard microplate reader and accepts rat-derived specimens, including serum or plasma samples and tissue homogenates prepared by conventional laboratory methods.
