Rat SCF ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of Stem Cell Factor (SCF) in rat samples, this double-antibody sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie supports the analysis of serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

The assay has a stated sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Reported linearity for 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions falls between 80% and 105% across serum (n = 5), EDTA plasma (n = 5), and heparin plasma (n = 5). Recovery ranges from 85% to 105% across the same matrices, with average recovery of 95% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma, and 97% for heparin plasma. SCF, also known as c-kit ligand, KITLG, MGF, SLF, and steel factor, is a cytokine that regulates the growth, differentiation, and survival of stem and progenitor cells, with relevance to hematopoiesis, tissue regeneration, and immune response.
