Rat S1PR5/ EDG8 ELISA Kit

A sandwich double-antibody ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of S1PR5 (also known as EDG8) in rat samples. The kit is positioned for research into S1PR5, a member of the S1P receptor family that plays a role in cell signaling and regulation of immune response. Dysregulation of S1PR5 has been implicated in autoimmune disorders, cancer, and cardiovascular diseases, making it a useful biomarker for studying these conditions.

Acceptable sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported linearity (n = 5) is 86–101% (1:2), 89–100% (1:4) and 82–91% (1:8) for serum; 91–103%, 84–100% and 85–99% for EDTA plasma; and 86–104%, 82–98% and 83–99% for heparin plasma. Recovery averages 95% for serum (range 86–105%), 95% for EDTA plasma (range 88–104%), and 94% for heparin plasma (range 89–102%). The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The sample workflow begins with equilibrating reagents to room temperature, followed by a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotinylated detection antibody binding step at 37°C, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding step at 37°C, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.
