Rat S100A11 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection (TMB substrate, absorbance read at 450 nm) to quantify S100A11 in rat-derived samples. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with reactivity confirmed for rat (UniProt Q6B345). S100A11 is a calcium-binding protein involved in cellular differentiation, proliferation, and migration, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, inflammatory disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions.

Reported analytical performance includes a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a detection range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions (n=5) is 90–105%, 82–99% and 81–99% for serum; 88–101%, 86–101% and 81–99% for EDTA plasma; and 86–100%, 88–97% and 80–97% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery averages are 94% for serum (range 87–102%), 95% for EDTA plasma (range 88–102%) and 94% for heparin plasma (range 85–104%). The kit is supplied for storage at 2–8°C for 12 months.
