Rat Ribonuclease T2 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Rat Ribonuclease T2 ELISA Kit is a sandwich, double-antibody ELISA designed to detect ribonuclease T2 (RNASET2) in rat samples. The assay works with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, offering a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.313-20 ng/mL.

Ribonuclease T2 is an enzyme that participates in RNA degradation and nucleotide metabolism, and is involved in cellular processes such as growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. Dysregulation of the enzyme has been linked to disease, making it a valuable biomarker for research. The protocol uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Plates are incubated at 37°C across multiple steps ranging from 30 to 90 minutes.

Reported linearity in serum spans 88-105% (1:2), 99-104% (1:4), and 91-101% (1:8); EDTA plasma 89-98%, 85-99%, and 83-100%; heparin plasma 80-100%, 80-94%, and 81-99%. Recovery ranges are 89-104% for serum (average 95%), 87-104% for EDTA plasma (average 96%), and 85-103% for heparin plasma (average 94%). The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
