Rat Renin receptor/ATP6AP2 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the accurate and reliable detection of ATP6AP2, also known as the renin receptor, in rat samples. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich ELISA format with colorimetric detection, and absorbance is read at 450 nm.

ATP6AP2 plays a role in regulating the renin-angiotensin system and blood pressure control, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cardiovascular and renal diseases, making it a useful biomarker for related research. The kit is reported with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Reported linearity for serum ranges from 86-99% to 91-100% across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions; EDTA plasma 86-96% to 91-100%; and heparin plasma 85-103% to 91-99% (n=5). Reported recovery averages are 99% in serum, 99% in EDTA plasma, and 90% in heparin plasma (n=5).

The protocol includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, and TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, followed by stop solution and absorbance reading at 450 nm. Kit reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
