Rat Regulator of G-protein signaling 19 (Rgs19) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Regulator of G-protein signaling 19 (Rgs19) in rat samples. It employs an ELISA detection method and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant rat Rgs19.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.39ng/mL. Reported precision values are an Intra CV of 5.1% and an Inter CV of 7.3%. The target protein, with a molecular weight of 24,738 Da (UniProt O70521), inhibits signal transduction by increasing the GTPase activity of G protein alpha subunits, driving them into their inactive GDP-bound form, and binds predominantly to G(i)-alpha-3.
