Rat Regenerating islet-derived protein 4 (Reg4) ELISA Kit

Specificity is reported for natural and recombinant rat Reg4.

Reported figures include a detection range of 1.56-100 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.821 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.1%, and an inter-assay CV of 9.2%. Linearity has been characterised in serum (83-118%), EDTA plasma (101-120%) and heparin plasma (92-126%) across serial dilutions, and recovery is reported at 103% (range 97-109%) for serum and 105% (range 99-111%) for plasma. Reg4 is described as a calcium-independent lectin with mannose-binding specificity that may be involved in inflammatory and metaplastic responses of the gastrointestinal epithelium; the protein is secreted and has a reported molecular weight of 18,269 Da (UniProt Q68AX7).
