Regenerating Islet-Derived Protein 1 Alpha (REG1A) is a secretory lectin-like protein expressed in pancreatic exocrine and islet tissue, and changes in its circulating concentration have been examined as a candidate biomarker of pancreatic stress, ductal proliferation, and gastrointestinal inflammation in rat models. This Assay Genie quantitative immunoassay targets the rat REG1A protein and is supplied as a complete microplate-format kit sufficient for ninety-six determinations per run.

Validated rat sample types include tissue homogenates, and the kit is also compatible with additional matrices commonly collected in preclinical rodent studies. Readout is absorbance-based on a standard plate reader, with quantitative results interpolated from a standard curve typically reported in ng/mL or pg/mL. Each box provides a pre-coated microplate, detection antibody, calibrated standard, dilution buffers, wash solution, and substrate in volumes sized for the full plate.
