Rat Reg3a ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit using a Double Antibody format is designed for the quantitative measurement of Reg3a, also known as regenerating islet-derived protein 3-alpha, in rat samples. The assay reacts with rat serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is intended for research use in the immunology field.

The kit provides a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and an assay range of 1.563-100 ng/mL. Linearity reported at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions spans 99-102%, 82-94% and 82-100% for serum; 88-104%, 89-97% and 87-98% for EDTA plasma; and 85-99%, 84-98% and 84-96% for heparin plasma (each n = 5). Recovery ranges from 88-105% in serum (average 96%), 86-100% in EDTA plasma (average 95%) and 87-97% in heparin plasma (average 91%).

Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The protocol follows a six-step sandwich workflow: equilibrate reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature; incubate the plate at 37°C for 90 minutes; add biotin-labelled detection antibody and incubate at 37°C for 60 minutes; add HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and incubate at 37°C for 30 minutes; develop with TMB substrate in the dark for 10-20 minutes; and add stop solution before reading absorbance at 450 nm.
