Rat RAS GTPase Activating Protein/GAP ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, designed for the quantitative detection of Ras GTPase Activating Protein (GAP) in rat samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, with absorbance read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development, and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples.

Ras GAP is a key regulator of Ras GTPase activity, central to signal transduction pathways controlling cell proliferation and differentiation, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer and developmental disorders. Linearity in serum spanned 86–104% (1:2), 94–105% (1:4), and 90–100% (1:8); EDTA plasma 82–99%, 84–95%, 84–101%; heparin plasma 90–98%, 80–96%, 81–99%. Average recovery was 97% (serum), 98% (EDTA plasma), and 93% (heparin plasma).
