RANTES, also designated CCL5, is a C-C motif chemokine that recruits T lymphocytes, eosinophils, and monocytes to sites of inflammation. Quantifying circulating CCL5 supports investigations into asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, allograft rejection, atherosclerosis, and viral pathogenesis models.

The microplate colorimetric workflow uses a 100 µL sample volume per well, with a detection range of 15.6 to 1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity below 9.375 pg/mL. Each kit contains a pre-coated plate, biotinylated detection reagent, lyophilized standards, wash buffer, and substrate solution. Refrigerate unopened reagents at 2-8°C and limit freeze-thaw cycles of the reconstituted standard to preserve binding activity.
