Rat Radical S-adenosyl methionine domain-containing protein 2 (Rsad2) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Radical S-adenosyl methionine domain-containing protein 2 (Rsad2), also known as Viperin, in rat samples. The assay is intended for research use only and detects both natural and recombinant rat Rsad2.

The kit provides a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.084ng/mL. Precision is reported with an intra-assay CV of 4.6% and an inter-assay CV of 7.8%. Recovery has been validated in serum (average 101%, range 95-107%) and plasma (average 103%, range 97-109%).

Rsad2 is an interferon-inducible iron-sulfur (4FE-4S) cluster-binding antiviral protein that plays a major role in the cell antiviral state induced by type I and type II interferon. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.
