Rat RAB11A ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's competitive ELISA kit provides a reliable tool for measuring Rab11a levels in rat samples, supporting research into intracellular trafficking, vesicle transport and membrane recycling. The kit is coated with antigen and uses a colorimetric detection method, with a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with recommended storage at 2–8°C in a sealed state and instructions to avoid cryopreservation.

Linearity data are reported across three dilutions. In serum (n=10), values at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 are 85–104%, 85–101% and 82–85%; EDTA plasma shows 85–103%, 86–97% and 80–94%; and heparin plasma shows 95–103%, 90–99% and 82–94%. Recovery ranges are 85–100% for serum (average 92%), 85–104% for EDTA plasma (average 95%) and 87–99% for heparin plasma (average 95%). The associated UniProt entry is P62494, and the protein is also referred to as Ras-related protein Rab-11A, Rab-11, YL8 and RAB11.

The assay workflow includes equilibration of TMB substrate, incubation with biotin-labeled antibody, washing, color development and absorbance measurement at 450 nm, making the kit suitable for studies of cell cycle, disease mechanisms and targeted therapy development in rat models.
