Rat PTN (Pleiotrophin) CLIA Kit (RTES00458)

Assay Genie supplies a chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA) kit intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of Rat Pleiotrophin (PTN) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay follows a sandwich CLIA principle using a plate pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat PTN. Standards or samples are combined with the coated antibody, then incubated sequentially with a biotinylated detection antibody and an Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. After unbound components are washed away, a substrate solution is added and the resulting Relative Light Unit (RLU) value is read on a chemiluminescence immunoassay analyser. The RLU is proportional to PTN concentration and is quantified against a standard curve.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 7.50 pg/mL and a detection range of 12.50-800 pg/mL. The reference standard is reconstituted to a working solution of 800 pg/mL, with a recommended serial dilution series of 800, 400, 200, 100, 50, 25, 12.5 and 0 pg/mL. The kit is reported to recognise Rat PTN in samples with no significant cross-reactivity or interference between Rat PTN and analogues. Reactivity is limited to rat samples and the product is labelled for research use only.
